‘A Christmas Spectacular’
Molly Dies announces “A Christmas Spectacular — Believe,” the 2019 show, will be back at Struthers Library Theatre, Thanksgiving weekend, at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29, 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1.
Tickets are on sale at www.strutherslibrarytheatre.com, the SLT office, and at the door; doors open one hour prior to show time with general seating.
This is a 90-minute show with a 15-minute intermission, full of singing, dancing, and a true Christmas adventure.

Warren-native Lisa Scalise was awarded a Cameo of Caring Nursing Award in Pittsburgh on November 2. The Cameo of Caring award is given to nurses who exhibit exceptional bedside manner, demonstrate a commitment to consistent, evidence-based clinical decision-making, excellent nursing care, and patient advocacy.
Lisa is employed by UPMC in Pittsburgh and works in the Labor and Delivery Ward.

The Warren Instrumental Boosters’ annual Citrus Fruit Sale is currently underway.
Fresh fruit from Florida Indian River Groves can be ordered now until Wednesday, Nov. 13, with the local pickup of orders in early December.
This year’s sale features more options than ever – including online ordering, new holiday gift packages, and a wider variety of carton sizes. Washington State red delicious apples have also been added to the mix.
Florida Indian River Groves harvests their fruit on the same day it is shipped; it’s also packaged and shipped in shaped trays to keep it safely cushioned during transport.

Turkey party
On Saturday, Nov. 9, the Youngsville Eagles Instrumental Boosters is having its annual fall turkey party and gun raffle fundraiser at the Youngsville Fire Hall. Doors open at 5 p.m. and wheel spins start at 6 p.m. Entrance tickets are a $10 donation. There will be free food, beverages, and fun! Raffle items include turkeys, hams, steaks, cheese trays, and much more. Please come and support our kids.
Vets’ breakfast
The Third Annual Veterans’ Breakfast, free for veterans and their immediate family, will be held at the Youngsville Fire Hall on Saturday, Nov. 9, from 8 to 10 a.m.

Craft show
A Holiday & Craft Show will take place on Saturday, Nov. 9, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Russell Volunteer Fire Department, 66 Perrigo Lane, Russell. Admission is free. The event features local businesses and crafters. A Silent Auction of items from all vendors will be drawn at 3 p.m. Chances are 50 cents for one or three for $1.
