Abadie was Homecoming king, and Hall was queen.

Class lunch

The YHS classes of 1964 and 1965 luncheon will be held at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22, at the American Legion in Youngsville. Spouses and all other classes are welcome.

City department closing

The City of Warren Building Codes Department will close at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 16, to attend the City RDA meeting. The office will reopen following the meeting.

Church luncheon

The Hessel Valley Lutheran Church Monthly Outreach Luncheon will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16. The cost is a free-will donation.

The menu consists of a variety of homemade soups, sandwiches, and desserts.

Benefit spaghetti dinner

The annual St. Joseph’s Spaghetti Dinner to benefit St. Joseph’s Catholic School will be held Saturday, Oct. 19, at St. Joseph’s Educational Center. Dining Room seating will be from 4 to 7:30 p.m. and takeouts are available from 4 to 8 p.m. The cost will be $8 for adults, $4 for children ages 5 to 12, and free for children ages 4 and younger. All takeout meals are $8. For tickets, call 723-2030 or 723-2090.

Presentation for caregivers

LIFE-NWPA will present Tips on How to Prevent Caregiver Burnout at noon Thursday, Oct. 17, in program 4 of the Warren County YMCA. Light snacks will be provided.

ANF offices closing

Times Observer by Lorri Drumm Pumpkin painting hosted by Warren County Master Gardeners set for Saturday at the Warren Farmer’s Market was postponed due to inclement weather. It has been rescheduled for Saturday, Oct. 19, from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the market located in the Midtown Parking Lot.

The Allegheny National Forest will close its Warren, Bradford, and Marienville offices, Thursday, Oct. 17, for a forest-wide event.

All offices will reopen Friday, Oct. 18, for normal business hours and operations.
