WCCD aids students of conservation field

Warren County students are moving on to conservation fields, with a little local help.

The Warren County Conservation District awarded its Ralph G. Eckert Scholarship and the Warren County Council of Sportsmen’s Clubs Scholarship.

The winners of the Eckert Scholarships, given to Warren County students pursuing conservation-related degrees, were: Abigail Arnold, Katlyn Adams, and Mikhyle Fehlman.

The winners of the council’s scholarships were: Arnold and Avery Smith.

Arnold is a 2019 graduate of Warren Area High School who will attend Penn State University with a major in agribusiness management.

Adams is a student at Grove City College majoring in biochemistry.

Fehlman is a 2019 graduate of Youngsville High School and will attend Penn State and major in plant science.

Smith is a 2019 Warren Area High School graduate who will attend Pennsylvania College of Technology and major in forest technology.
