Photo submitted to Times Observer Moments on Target founder Kristen Schnepp-Giger and her daughter, Jennifer, celebrate a catch on Youth Fishing Day. The 2019 season of Moments on Target — a program that connects children grieving the loss of a loved one with healthy, fun, outdoor activities — is underway. The program’s four “pillars” of activities include fishing, shooting sports, nutrition, and fitness. A Professional Kick-Off Day will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday, June 14, for counselors and others who may be aware of children who could benefit from the program.
