Warren County Wonders

Allegheny Center for the Arts (ACA) has announced the winners of the October and April pages for its fundraising calendar, WCCBI/ACA “Warren County Wonders 2020.”

First place for the October page in the Warren County Wonders goes to Chris Goff for “Confetti Stump.” Second place for October goes to Allan Branthoover for “Golden Driveway.” Third place for October goes to Chris Goff for “Season’s End.”

First place for the April page in the Warren County Wonders goes to Lisa Lopuch for “BEEZ.” Second place for April goes to Allan Branthoover for “Kinzua Dam.” Third place for April goes Chris Goff for “Spring House.”

Photos for May and September can be sent until May 30. There are lots of wonders out there. Have fun looking for them and capturing them in a photo. Photos requirements are listed on our website. The photos do not have to be taken in the month of the page, but they need to be appropriate for that month and taken within Warren County. Check our website for these and other great Warren County photos. There is a slide show on the contest page of all this year’s monthly winners at www.alleghenycenterforthearts.com

Square dancing

Randolph Fire Company invites the public to its Round and Square Dance from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, June 1, at Randolph Fire Hall, 70 Main St., Randolph, N.Y. Admission is $10 for a single, $15 per couple, and $25 per family. There are food and refreshments available from the Senior Girl Scout Troop 10193.

Free Family Movie Night

The community is invited to a Free Family Movie Night at 7 p.m. Friday, May 10, at The Warren Alliance Church (278 Kinzua Rd). The featured movie is The Lego Movie 2. There will be free popcorn and prizes. The purpose of the Family Movie Night is to provide an affordable evening of entertainment to families in our community. Films will be chosen that have a high family rating.

Pomona Grange

Warren-Forest Pomona Grange will hold its quarterly meeting at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 11, in the grange building on the Warren County Fairgrounds. Lunch will be provided by the Watson Junior Grange.
