Jan. 26: Warren Public Library’s A Midwinter Night’s Dream FUNdraiser — Games, prizes, 50/50, food and drinks, 7 to 10 p.m. Tickets available at the library in person, or by phone.

Jan. 27: Warren County Bridal Expo (sponsored by Times Observer), Conewango Club, 1 to 4 p.m. $5 tickets sold at door.

Feb. 1: Allegheny Center for the Arts, Wetmore Gallery Art Show set-up for public viewing Feb. 2-26 during regular library hours.

Feb. 4, 11, 25; March 4, 11, 18, 25; April 1, 8, 15, 22, 29: Toddler Time: Warren Public Library Children’s Department, Mondays, 10:30 a.m. Theme-based story time, songs, craft, creative play for ages one to four.

February 5, 12, 19, 26; March 5, 12, 19, 26; April 2, 9, 16, 23, 30: Build-It-Up, Take-It-Down: Warren Public Library Children’s Department, Tuesdays, 3 to 5 p.m. Children of all ages learn STEM skills through play with large wooden blocks, LEGO, Bee-Bot coding robots, Bloco Robots and other toys that enhance the experience.

Feb. 7: Warren County District Spelling Bee (Northwest Bank/Times Observer), 9 a.m., Beaty-Warren Middle School.

Feb. 9: The 3rd Annual Relay For Life Chili Cook-off, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., North Warren VFD. There will be chili judging, additional food for sale, basket raffles, and wine tasting. Adults $10 and children $5.

Feb. 16: Valentines and Red Balloons, 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., Warren Public Library, Slater Room, 3rd floor. Stories, a classic 30-minute movie about a red balloon and strawberry cupcakes on the 3rd floor, followed by crafts and play with STEM toys in the Children’s Department. Each child will receive a red balloon to take home. Preregistration appreciated. Leave a message for Children’s staff at 723-4650 or register in the Children’s Department.

Feb. 20: A Cat And A Hat, 10:15 to 11 a.m., Warren Public Library, Slater Room, 3rd floor. Cris Johnson returns to Warren with a program centered around the wacky characters and plots of many Dr. Seuss books. This interactive, hilarious theatrical experience will have children and adults laughing, clapping and cheering. Preregistration appreciated. Spring Fling 2019 vendor show, 10 am to 3 pm. Easter, Spring & Mothers’ Day items, in Ballroom of Woman’s Club, 310 Market Street Warren, Entry $2, Children 12 and under free. Easter Bunny will be available for free photographs. Vendors, $25 per table, $10 each extra table. Applications due Wednesday, March 6.
