Outdoor Club meeting
The Allegheny Outdoor Club’s first planning meeting of 2019 is at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, at First Lutheran Church, on the corner of Third Avenue and East Street. Enter through the parking lot entrance. All are welcome.
Caregivers’ Support Group meeting
The first Caregivers’ Support Group meeting for the new year will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, at the Grace United Methodist Church, Winger Room, 501 PA Ave. E., Warren. All caregivers and any other interested persons are welcome to attend. These meetings are open to the public. Topics of discussion vary

- Photo submitted for publication The Sheffield (St. Anthony’s Church) Knights of Columbus Council recently made contributions to the Sheffield Area Ecumenical Food Pantry and the Knights of Columbus Coats for Kids program. The Knights’ contribution to the Food Pantry was used to fund the purchase of turkeys for the Thanksgiving/Christmas distributions. These donations are only possible because of the public’s tsupport of the Knights’ Lenten Fish Dinners. From left are Sheffield Grand Knight Jack Werner and secretary, Jack Cashmere.
Additionally, the third Monday meetings will continue in the new year beginning on January 21 in the Wesley Parlor of Grace United Methodist Church.

Youngsville Borough closings
Youngsville Borough’s office and services will close at noon on Monday, Dec. 31, and will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2019, for New Year’s.
Monday’s garbage pickup will remain Monday, and Tuesday’s garbage pickup will be Wednesday.
