ACC bus trips

Beginning in January, the Allegheny Community Center bus trips to Erie will be held on the third Wednesday of each month. Those interested may call the Transit Authority of Warren County (723-1874) for reservations or Margaret Sleeman (723-7143) for information.

Bridge results

Tuesday afternoon at the Allegheny Community Center, Audrey Cable placed first and Bill Massa was second.

At the Woman’s Club Thursday afternoon, Linda Jensen and Peggy Morgan were first and second. Connie Michell came in first Thursday evening at the library with Patty Baker in second.

The winner of Voice of Democray was Paige Downey and the Winner of the Patriotics Penn was Zaynah Gardner, second place was James Johnson and third place was Michael Hulse. The Post and it’s auxillary send their congratulations to the contest winner. Both first place winning esays have been forwarded on to the District 19 judging on the district level. Christmas Cookie Sale

The First United Methodist Church’s Annual Christmas Cookie Sale, will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Dec. 15. Thousands of Christmas cookies will be for sale. A second-hand jewelry shop and gently-used Christmas items are available.

Santa visits library

Ho! Ho! Ho! Santa and Mrs. Claus will be at the Warren Public Library, Slater Room, 3rd floor, at noon on Dec. 15. Join Santa and Mrs. Claus for holiday stories, songs, crafts and snacks. Preregistration is mandatory. Register on the green sheet next to the staff computer in the Children’s Room or leave a message for Ms. Susan at 723-4650.
