Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays: Have You Visited the Book Cellar? In the lower level of the Warren Public Library. Selection of books for children, Teens, and adults, plus DVDs & puzzles; priced from $.25- $4. Open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5 to 7:30 p.m., Thursdays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., or whenever you see Sherm the Book Worm flying outside.

Nov. 29: Turning Outward community discussion, Warren Public Library, 6 p.m. The Warren Public Library will be holding an event for community members to discuss the wishes of what they want the community to be! If you can’t make it stop in the library, call 814-723-4650, or email turningoutward@warrenlibrary.org. Meetings will be held in the Slater Room.

Nov. 29: The Warren Area Ministerial Association will again host noon services and luncheons during the Advent Season at the First United Methodist Church, 200 Market Street in Warren. The service begins with prelude music at noon and concludes by 12:30 p.m., allowing those who need to return to work time to attend and have lunch. Services will be held on Thursdays, Nov. 29, and Dec. 6, 13, and 20.

Dec. 1: 32nd Annual St Joseph Craft Fair, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $2 per person (12 and under are free). All proceeds benefit the St Joseph School Accelerated Reader Program. CCY-sponsored lunch, bake sale and basket raffle in the cafeteria.

Dec. 1: YMCA Santa’s Workshop Experience — Travel to the North Pole. Meet Santa in his toy shop for a family experience (5:30-7:30 p.m.). Call 726-0110.

Dec. 1: Youngsville Old Fashioned Christmas Walk, 4 to 6 p.m. Come and join us as we welcome Santa into town with a parade at 4 p.m. Following the parade, there will be entertainment, food, craft vendors, a gingerbread house walk, a winter wonderland walk, a random ugly sweater contest, games, ornament making for the little ones, a cash raffle, free hot chocolate and cookies, and of course a visit with Santa! The gingerbread house contest is open to all with four different age/ family groups. Prizes will be given for the best in each group. Cash raffle tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at local area businesses.

Dec. 2: Silver Winds Flute Choir presents a free concert, “A Joyful Noise,” 4 p.m., Trinity Memorial Episcopal Church, 444 Pa Ave W. Warren.

Dec. 5, After School with Mrs. Claus, 4:30 p.m., Warren Public Library Children’s Department. Mrs. Claus shares holiday stories, songs, crafts, and snacks. Preregistration appreciated. Registration form next to staff desk in the Children’s Dept. or leave a message for Children’s staff at 723-4650.

Dec. 7: Christmas Walk & Parade: Walk, 5 p.m., parade, 6:30 p.m.

Dec. 7: Victorian Christmas Open House & Trolley Tours: Friday, 6-8:30PM, Warren County Historical Society, 210 4th Ave., Warren. Live music, refreshments, decorations. Trolley $7/rider. First come, first serve.

Dec. 9: Grace United Methodist Church Choir presents its annual Christmas concert: “What Did the Star See?” 3:40 p.m.

Dec. 19: St. Joseph School is hosting Erie Roman Catholic Diocese Bishop Lawrence Persico; he will concelebrate the children’s Mass at 9:05 a.m.; visit with students in classrooms; and join students for annual Christmas feast at 11:30 a.m.
