On Saturday, Nov. 10, Chautauqua Brass will perform at 7:30 p.m. at Warren’s First Presbyterian Church.

Chautauqua Brass is an energetic young brass ensemble on a mission to connect and communicate through music.

Hailing from all over North America, they have settled in Chautauqua County to rehearse and prepare to tour the USA. They enjoy playing music of all ages and all styles and love to share the history of the pieces with their audiences.

Each of the musicians of Chautauqua Brass has his own particular musical interests and this variety keeps their performances varied and intriguing.

They will take the audience on a journey through the history of Western Classical music. Beginning in Early Renaissance, they’ll move onto Baroque and all the way to modern contemporary, Jazz, and Funk.

Apart from their musical endeavors, they work with Musician’s Wellness of North America, located in Chautauqua, NY, to foster healthy performance practices in musicians. As the touring branch of MWNA, they will travel North America guiding musicians toward healthier practices and helping to prevent injury. Their goal is to help the music community at large to become a healthier society and to help musicians focus on music.

The church doors will open at 6:30 p.m. for the 7:30 p.m. concert. Season subscriptions are still available and can be purchased prior to the concert. Individual tickets for the Chautauqua Brass performance will also be available for purchase.
