Local artisans gather for Woman’s Club fundraiser Nov. 10

Get a jump on holiday gifting, support the talents of local artisans, and treat yourself to a delectable “Beef on Weck” luncheon — all at the annual Warren Woman’s Club fundraiser, “What’s New for the Holidays,” Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Your $3 entry fee (children under 12 are admitted free) will entitle you to shop from a wide variety of local vendors at the 310 Market Street ballroom.

Among those selling their wares will be:

Jack Northrop – handmade wooden bowls and wood items;

Amanda Wellner — homemade bath scrubs, lip balm, etc.;

Roberta Ward – Handmade ground pine wreaths & handmade bows;

Beth MacPherson — Tupperware;

Linda Gould – knives and crafts;

Tina West — Allegheny Cellars Winery;

Kate Spencer — candles;

Debra Young — handcrafted items for the home;

Nancy Kaye — MaryKay cosmetics;

Bill Gross — hand-turned wood pens, seam rippers, etc.

GG My Love (Cheri Greenstein) — Red Ribbon Bras, leggings, jewelry & clothing;

Michele Bango – textile art.

The Woman’s Club will continue to serve a traditional Beef on “Weck” luncheon beginning at 11:30 a.m. until gone. The meal includes a Beef on “Weck” sandwich, macaroni salad, chips, beverages and homemade pumpkin roll for dessert served in our seasonally-decorated dining room.

All luncheon tickets will be sold at the door Saturday the 10th for $10.

Victorian holiday decorations will fill the Woman’s Club including Christmas trees decorated by local Scout troops. You will also have the opportunity to visit display tables of non-profit, local agencies in our parlors.

Raffle items this year include a money tree of at least $250, a c.1840s washstand refurbished by Jon Amacher, an adult bicycle, and an antique chair donated by Nan Cashman. The raffle drawings will take place Friday, Dec. 14.
