Ruff Riders 4-H Club

The Sugar Grove Ruff Riders 4-H Club met on Tuesday, Oct. 2, at Mission Covenant Church, Sugar Grove.

After reciting the 4-H pledge, the 18 members went around the table, sharing their names, their horses’ names, and something fun they’d done with their horses over the summer.

Record books were returned with the ribbons earned. New record books, the annual agenda, and orders forms for the Cuba Cheese fundraiser were passed out. Officers were nominated.

Using halters and lead ropes, teams of members practiced groundwork and lunging skills, taking turns using one another as the horse.
