Be prepared to be scared! The Warren County Historical Society presents the annual “Haunted House & Trolley Tours” from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Oct. 5 and 6.

Always a popular event, it is bound to leave you on edge. Can you make it through the haunted halls of history? Will the ominous quarters of the sprawling 145-year-old mansion be too much for you to handle? The Struthers-Wetmore-Schimmelfeng House, now home to the Warren County Historical Society, will be full of the sights and sounds of Halloween, taking you on an adventure you’ll not soon forget, no matter how hard you try.

The haunted house is free and open to the public.

For additional spine-tingling fun, purchase tickets for the popular horse-drawn trolley tours. With eerie stories from Warren County’s past, this year’s guided trolley tour will take you back in time as you hear creepy tales of those who came before us and might possibly still be hanging around.

Trolley tickets are $9 per person in advance or $10 at the door and are available for purchase at the Warren County Historical Society and online at www.warrenhistory.org. First come, first serve. Advanced purchase is recommended.
