Registration for the Kolors for Kallie 5K Run/Walk also begins at 9 a.m., with the first wave of runners at 10:30 a.m.

Proceeds benefit families stricken with a childhood disease.

There will be food and entertainment, including DJ Payne from 10 a.m. to noon, and a live band from noon to 2 p.m. There will also be an auction, raffles, and more.

Bring a lawn chair, family, and friends, and enjoy the day while raising funds for this cause. For information, visit www.kallieskrusade.org, or email kallieskrusade@outlook.com.

Donations may be made to Kallie’s Krusade, PO Box 224, Falconer, N.Y. 14733.

Blood drive Tuesday

In anticipation of Labor Day weekend, Community Blood Bank will host a blood drive from 1 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, at Warren Public Library.

Available blood levels are already critically low and holiday weekends increase demand.

The drive will be held in the Slater Room. Walk-ins are welcome.

All donors must be at least 16 years old, those who are exactly 16 will require a signed parental consent form.

Donors must weigh at least 110 pounds, be in generally good health, and have had no new body piercings nor tattoos for 12 months.

All donors will be entered to win a weekend getaway package to the Finger Lakes.
