April 6-7: Kinzua Knit-Away, First United Methodist Church, 200 Market Street; April 6 – 6:00-8:00 Cathy Briscoe Lecture on Yarn Substitution; April 7 – Classes – 8:00-4:00 and Vendor Marketplace – 10:00-5:00; Sponsored by the Warren County Fiber Artists

April 7: Murder mystery dinner fundraiser, “Death Stalks the Historical Society- Talent of Historical Proportions!” A 3MMM Productions Murder Mystery, Conewango Club! Doors open at 5:30 PM, and dinner is at 6PM. Purchase tickets at the Warren County Historical Society, or at www.warrenhistory.org.

April 7: Warren Woman’s Club USABLE DISCARDS sale. 8 am – 2 pm. Selection of household items. Added plus: Cookie sale; 310 Market St. Use the side entrance.

April 7: John McEuen and Will the Circle Be Unbroken; performance by original members of Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and Friends, 7:30 p.m. at Struthers Library Theatre. For ticket information, call 814.723.6505 or email warrenconcertassociation@gmail.com

April 9, 16, 23, 30: Toddler Time: Mondays, 10:30 a.m., Warren Public Library Children’s Department. Stories, songs, craft, creative play for ages one to four, but all are welcome.

April 12: Warren Garden Club Board Meeting, Warren Public Library, 10:15 AM

April 12, 19, 26: Build-It-Up, Take-It-Down: Thursdays, 3 to 5 p.m., Warren Public Library Children’s Department. Provides ample STEM opportunities for learning by playing with large wooden blocks, LEGO, Lincoln Logs and other toys that enhance the experience. Geared towards ages three to eight, but all are welcome.

April 13: Teen Driving Challenge, Youngsville VFD.

April 14: Garland Presbyterian Church Annual first day of fishing chicken bbq; 3915 Route 27, Garland; noon until sold out. Includes 1/2 chicken, mac salad, baked beans, roll, cookies. $10, 1/2 chicken only $6.

April 17-May 18: YMCA, spring tennis lessons at Beaty Park for ages K-8th grade.

April 18: Spring SADD Conference, 9 a.m., at Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Church.

April 19: Warren YMCA EXPO – teams, kids perform, volunteers recognized, families celebrate and more. Come see all the upgrade that our Capital Campaign provided to our Warren County YMCA. Vendors, food, 3 to 9 p.m. Free to public.

April 21: The Ultimate Tribute to Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band by Hollywood Nights, Saturday, April 21, 8 pm at the Struthers Library Theatre, Warren. For Tickets Call, (814) 489-3110.

April 26 Warren Garden Club will meet (Note Date Change) at 1 PM, at Meyer Hall at St Joseph Church on Pennsylvania Avenue. Don Watts, Master bird bander, will present a program on four popular birds in our area, Robin, Goldfinch, Bluejay and Cardinal.
