The Wilder Museum is presenting this summer’s installment of “Warren County Tales” on Thursday, Aug. 31, at 6:30 p.m., featuring Helen G. Ebersole, author of Off the Pedestal: Jackson in Jamestown, 1909-1934.
Arguably Warren County’s most famous and influential son, Robert H. Jackson grew from his humble roots in Spring Creek to become a United States Supreme Court Justice, Attorney General, and Chief U.S. Prosecutor in the Nuremberg War Trials.
Ms. Ebersole will join Gregory Peterson from the Robert H. Jackson Center on the front lawn of the Wilder Museum as they talk about Jackson and his time spent in neighboring Jamestown, N.Y.
Guests are asked to bring lawn seating. In the case of inclement weather, this event will be held in the museum’s conference room.
This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided by Kinzua Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center and AseraCare Hospice. The Wilder Museum is located at 51 Erie Avenue, Irvine.
