Cutest Baby Contest sees better numbers in 5th year

The fifth annual cutest baby contest saw an increase in participants.

According to Tabitha Anderson, who’s been a judge in the contest for the past four years, this year’s total number of entries was 66, which she said was an increase from years past. But no matter how many babies are entered, said Anderson, “it’s always too hard to choose.”

Anderson added that all of the babies always have unique personalities and traits, and that every baby entered is adorable in his or her own right.

This year’s prizes included $200 worth of beach toys, blankets, stuffed animals, Walmart gift cards, and other kid-friendly fare. The theme of this year’s prizes was beach baskets, said Anderson.

This year’s winners were:

Newborn to Three months – Paisley Berdine; Four to Six months – Kenda Christenson; Seven to 12 months – Hallie Miller; 13 to 23 months – Haidyn Simpson; Two to three years – Shailee Saber.
