What’s New for the Holidays

The Woman’s Club of Warren announces details of this year’s What’s New For The Holidays at the Club, 310 Market St. on Saturday, Nov. 12, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
As always, this event is a great way to jumpstart your holiday shopping or to indulge yourself.
For those of you who like to eat when you shop, lunch is available beginning at 11:30 until gone. The $3 entry fee–free for children under 12–is a ticket to visit and shop with our 25 vendors. You will see:

By popular demand, the traditional beef on weck lunch is back; it includes the sandwich, homemade macaroni salad, chips, your choice of coffee or tea, and homemade pumpkin roll–all this for a $10 lunch ticket which will be sold at the door.
Victorian holiday decorations abound at the Woman’s Club including Christmas trees decorated by local Girl Scout and Cub Scout troops which will adorn our ballroom stage. What better way to get into the Christmas Spirit.
You will also have the opportunity to visit display tables of local agencies in our parlors.
Raffle items this year include a money tree worth a minimum of $200, a striking antique washstand refinished by John Amacher, a ground pine wreath created by Woman’s Club member Roberta Ward, a stunning silver holiday handbag compliments of Virg-Ann Florist and an eye-catching blanket chest locally made by the Amish along with a beautiful blue and white Amish quilt donated by Woman’s Club member Mary Weiss. The raffle drawings will take place Friday, December 16.
