Oct. 2: “Sail On Titanic” program, roast beef dinner and silent auction. Titanic historian Gary Loncki of Erie will talk and share interesting anecdotes in a PowerPoint program. The dinner will be similar to the last meal of passengers on the ill-fated ship. First Lutheran Church, 109 W. 3rd St., 4:30PM, tickets $25/person. Ph. 723-6450 for tickets. Limited seating.

Through an exchange of knowledge to encourage personal growth and broadening of skills, the Knit-Away strives to ensure the future viability of the fiber arts. The event always includes classes, social time, marketplace shopping and food, all in one location and may offer speakers and entertainment.

Oct. 13: Warren Garden Club’s Triple Bloom Event, will be held October 13th at the Holiday Inn, Warren PA. Presenters will be Tony Tedesco and Dan Vanghn, Floral Design and Bill Rose, Motivational Speaker. This all day event includes continental breakfast, lunch, raffle items, door prizes and three excellent presenters. Tickets will be $35 and will go on sale August 1st. September 10: The Warren General Hospital Auxiliary Annual Gala, “Autumn Splendor,” is Saturday Sept. 10, at the Jackson Valley Golf Club under the Big White Tent.
