Ashley Gazdak and Alex Grubbs were united in marriage on Sept 14, 2013, outside at Wildcat Park, Ludlow. The ceremony was officiated by Glenn Carlson. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Gazdak, Russell. She is the granddaughter of Mr. Eugene Gazdak, Russell, and the late Mrs. Patricia Gazdak and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Koebley, Warren. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Grubbs, Sheffield. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard Grubbs and Mr. and Mrs. George Petruney, Sheffield.

Escorted by her father and given away by her parents, the bride wore an ivory, strapless, lace gown. Miss Heather Gazdak, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridal attendants included Miss Angela Gazdak, cousin of the bride, Mrs. Jennifer (Decker) Janocha, friend of the bride, Mrs. Jenelle (Elmquist) Johnson, friend of the bride, Mrs. Jessica (Adams) Ruscher, friend of the bride, Mrs. Christy (Calvert) Passinger, friend of the bride, Miss Sara Selan, friend of the bride, and Miss Libby Grubbs, sister of the groom. Mr. Russell Holden, friend of the groom, served as Best Man. Groom attendants included Mr. Bryan Zimmerman, friend of the groom, Mr. Kirt Schrader, friend of the groom, Mr. Zane Johnson, friend of the groom, Mr. Jeb Siffin, friend of the groom, Mr. Bryan Gould, friend of the groom, Mr. Dillan Holden, friend of the groom, and Mr. Jesse Siffin, friend of the groom. The flower girls were Miss Kelsey and Miss Peyton Gazdak, cousins of the bride. The ring bearer was Mr. Waylon Holden, best man’s son. The reception took place at Wildcat Park pavilion following the ceremony.

Ashley is a 2007 graduate of Eisenhower High School and a 2011 graduate of Penn State Behrend, Erie. She currently works as a RN at WCA Hospital in Jamestown, NY. Alex is a 2006 graduate of Sheffield High School and a 2008 graduate of Penn Tech in Williamsport. He currently works as a rig operator for Cameron Energy, Sheffield.

The couple resides in Sheffield.
