Rouse Board adds board member

Michael D. Boyd

The Rouse has added Michael D. Boyd to its board effective Jan. 1.

Boyd will serve a four-year term, with a role on both the Rouse Estate board and the Henry R. Rouse Legacy Foundation Board.

Boyd brings more than two decades of professional experience in commercial insurance, banking, and financial services, offering a background in risk assessment and mitigation, regulatory compliance, business development, and nonprofit fundraising. He serves as regional vice president, insurance broker, and office manager at Burns & Burns Associates in Warren, where he manages a commercial and personal insurance portfolio, including healthcare and nonprofit organizations.

Previously, Boyd held multiple leadership roles with Northwest Bank and Northwest Savings Bank, including assistant vice president and retail field manager, where he oversaw mortgage and consumer lending operations across multiple counties, managed large-scale lending portfolios, and led bank-wide initiatives. His experience includes managing complex financial operations, guiding capital improvement efforts, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Boyd serves as chairman of the Warren Redevelopment Authority, president of the Warren Sports Boosters, and a board member of the Warren County Landbank. His participation in the Leadership Warren program.

The Rouse board also recognized Timothy Huber, who is concluding his service on the Rouse Board of Directors after eight years, including a stint as chairman of the board. Huber will continue to serve the organization through his ongoing role on the Henry R. Rouse Legacy Foundation Board.

Boyd holds a bachelor of science in psychology with a minor in economic studies from the University of Pittsburgh and is a graduate of the Pennsylvania Advanced School of Banking.
