Embrey joined the firm in 2000 after graduating from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting. He previously served in the firm as a tax manager for individual and business clients. In addition to providing tax services, Embrey provides consulting services and supervises attest engagements. He is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants.

McDermott joined the firm in 1998 after graduating with an accounting degree from King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.

She previously served in the firm as a tax and auditing manager and she provides auditing, accounting, financial reporting, and tax services to a variety of individuals, small businesses, and nonprofit organizations. McDermott is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants.

Kersey & Associates, PC, established in 1948, is a full service accounting firm that provides audit and attest, tax return preparation and planning, financial reporting, consulting, and small business services to a diverse group of clients based primarily in the region. Staff includes 17 employees, six of whom are certified public accountants.
