WGH changes schedule, hours

Warren General Hospital’s schedule and hours of operations have changed recently in some departments, including:

1. LAB — Still open, with regular hours.

Hours of operation in outpatient phlebotomy will run from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. starting Monday, March 30.

2. Hospital Home Health Care –Still open, with regular hours.

3. RehabWorks — RehabWork’s hours will continue to be 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday.

Cardiac Rehab is closed until further notice

4. Cafeteria — Beginning Friday, March 27, the cafeteria hours will be limited to the following times: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday. Closed on weekend.

This is only temporary through the end of April.

5. Advanced Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine Center — The Warren General Hospital Advanced Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine Center is open and committed to ensuring the continuity of care for patients requiring ongoing treatments. The plan is to remain open for as long as the hospital allows. Office hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

6. Emergency Care Center — Open 24/7 , 365 days a year.

7. Maternity — Still open, with regular hours.

8. Behavioral Health — Still open, with regular hours.

9. Cancer Care Center — Still open, with regular hours.

10. Radiology — Still open, with regular hours.

Routine/scheduled exams have been rescheduled for May or later.

Radiology is accepting urgent and emergent outpatients based on the provider’s request for the exam. Obstetrical exams are being completed when advised to do so by an OB/GYN provider.

11. Warren Medical Group — Beginning on Monday, March 30, the North Warren Walk-In Clinic will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Beginning on Monday, March 30, all Warren Medical Group primary care appointments will temporarily take place at one of two locations: The Warren General Hospital Tammy Ristau Clinic along the Allegheny River (enter through hospital entrance B) or at the Saint Clair Building, Suite 2A, located directly next to Warren General Hospital.

Patients of Jen McKown, Tammy Ristau, Shawna Steffan, and Liz Anderson will be seen at Warren General Hospital. Patients of Dr. Sutton, Dr. Tootell, Lonnie Heeter, and Missy Eckman will be seen at the St. Clair Building. Patients of Angie Damore will be seen at both locations.

The following Warren Medical Group offices will be temporarily closed: Crescent Park Family Practice – Dr. Tootell Office, Jen McKown/Shawna Steffan Office, Warren Medical Group – Youngsville Office, and Warren Medical Group – Sheffield Office.

Hospital staff will be reaching out to patients that have appointments scheduled in March or April to confirm their appointments and answer any questions. Telemedicine visits will soon be offered.
