Identity of man arrested in Friday sting released

Police have charged an Edinboro man following a Warren County Drug Task Force sting on Friday.

According to court documents, Matthew J. Kemper II, 27, is charged with possession with intent to distribute, five counts of criminal use of a communications facility, and possession of a controlled substance.

On Friday, Drug Task Force agents, assisted by officers from Conewango Township Police, City of Warren Police, Warren County Sheriff’s Office, Warren County Adult Probation, Warren County District Attorney’s Office, and Department of Homeland Security Investigations, arrested Kemper near Struthers Street in Warren after he allegedly drove there to sell drugs – M30 pills.

Anyone who sees blue M30 pills that were not prescribed to them is urged to not touch them and contact the Warren County Drug Task Force through the Warren County District Attorney’s Office.

Kemper was arraigned Saturday before District Judge Todd Woodin and taken to Warren County jail after failing to post $500,000 bail.
