71 new COVID cases; three more deaths
The surge of COVID cases in Warren County continues.
According to the statistics released Thursday by the Pennsylvania Department of Health, there were 71 new cases of COVID-19 in the county on Wednesday.
That is one of the highest single-day totals yet. There were three days with at least 70 new cases between Dec. 16 and 21, including 78 on Dec. 19 – the single-day high for the county. The next highest single-day was Oct. 19, when the department reported 67 new cases.
There were also three more COVID-related deaths reported in the county on Thursday, bringing the pandemic toll to 135.
