Titusville collision sends 2 to TAH

Two Titusville juvenile passengers suffered suspected serious injuries in a one-vehicle crash on Sunday in Eldred Township.

State police at the Warren barracks reported that Emily M. Fox, 37, of Titusville, was traveling south on Oil Creek Road in a 2009 Chevrolet HHR that left the roadway when she lost control of her vehicle and it hit an embankment.

A 10-year-old female and an 8-year-old male, both passengers in the vehicle, suffered suspected serious injuries, police reported. They were transported by Grand Valley Volunteer Fire Department Ambulance Service to Titusville Area Hospital. Both were wearing seatbelts, according to the police report.

Fox was not injured. She was cited with failing to drive her vehicle at a safe speed.

The vehicle was towed from the scene by Shambaugh Towing. Emergycare assisted at the scene.
