Linda Custer Phillips and Peter L. Ferry were joined in marriage on July 7, 2018.

An “I Do BBQ” was held at their home in Russell, Pa., with 70 family members and friends attending.

Rev. David Heckman performed the ceremony. Maid of Honor was Donna McElwain, the bride’s aunt, and flower girl was Jean Heckman. Shawn Gebhardt was best man and the bride’s grandson, Drew Taylor, was the ring bearer.

Linda is a retired local insurance agent, and Pete retired from Biltmore Estate, Ashville, N.C. Prior to this, he worked at Betts.

Linda and Peter met at and graduated from Eisenhower High School, and renewed their friendship upon Pete’s return from North Carolina.
