February 29: 5-7 p.m., Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser: To help cover medical expenses for Russell resident Patricia Spicer following her battle with cancer. March 6-7: Warren Woman’s Club Usable Discards Sale; Friday March 6, from 6 to 8 p.m., and Saturday, March 7, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Woman’s Club ballroom 310 Market Street.

March 10: Warren County Historical Society Annual Meeting & Program, 6 p.m. The historical society’s brief annual meeting will be immediately followed by “Marketing the Presidency — A Visual Tour of 125 Years of Presidential Artifacts,” presented by Steve Mihaly. March 12: Warren Garden Club Board Meeting, Warren Public Library, 10:15 a.m.

March 15: Warren Philharmonic’s “All Aboard” – Music about trains, Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Church, 4 p.m.

May 16: YHS Alumni Scholarship Golf Tournament will be held at Jackson Valley Golf Club with 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. The four-person scramble will be $220 per team with greens fees, cart rentals, lunch & prizes provided. Chairman is Tim Sandburg at 723-7087.

March 19: Warren Garden Club’s regular meeting, St. Joseph Education Center, Meyer Hall, 600 Pennsylvania Ave. West, Warren; 1 p.m. There will be no luncheon.

April 4: Murder Mystery & Dinner: “Death Stalks the Historical Society: USOh No!” is an all-new, 1940s-themed murder mystery benefiting the Warren County Historical Society; 5:30 p.m. at Conewango Club, 201 Market Street, Warren. April 26: Silver Winds Flute Choir free concert “Spring Mix, 4 p.m. at Faith Fellowship-Church of God, 208 Market Street (across from Warren Public Library).

April 4: “Step Into Spring” at the Woman’s Club of Warren, 310 Market St., Saturday, from 10 am to 3 pm. Second annual artisan/vendor bazaar with 20+ vendors offers you the chance to shed winter blahs and shop for the next special event on your calendar. Various vendor items will be raffled off. The Easter Bunny will pose for free photos with children. Admission $2. Children 12 and under free.

Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays: Have You Visited the Book Cellar? In the lower level of the Warren Public Library. Selection of books for children, teens, and adults, plus DVDs & puzzles; priced from $.25- $4. Open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5 to 7:30 p.m., Thursdays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., or whenever you see Sherm the Book Worm flying outside.
