January 11: Homemade Meatloaf Dinner, Russell United Methodist Church, 4 to 7 p.m. Includes sides, desserts, and beverages; $10 minimum donation benefits the Ministry Center. Takeouts are available.

January 16: Warren County Visitor’s Bureau board meeting, 6 p.m. The public is welcome.

January 18: Free Community Breakfast, Russell United Methodist Church, 8 to 10 a.m. Enjoy pancakes, eggs, sausage, coffee, and juice. Everyone is welcome.

January 25: Adventure Awaits Midwinter Fundraiser, 7 to 10 p.m., Warren Public Library.

February 8: 19th Annual Women Are Wonderful, co-sponsored by Zonta Club and Jefferson DeFrees Family Center; doors open at 8:15 a.m., Jefferson DeFrees Family Center. This popular event features workshops, speakers, a coffee/tea bar, and luncheon.

February 15: 3rd Annual Hearts to Hearts Dinner & Dessert Auction, 6 to 10 p.m., Woman’s Club of Warren. Proceeds benefit the House of Hope of Warren County. http://www.warrenwomansclub.org/

Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays: Have You Visited the Book Cellar? In the lower level of the Warren Public Library. Selection of books for children, teens, and adults, plus DVDs & puzzles; priced from $.25- $4. Open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5 to 7:30 p.m., Thursdays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., or whenever you see Sherm the Book Worm flying outside.
