‘80s experience
New Wave Nation tribute on Saturday
Calling all youth of the ’80s!
New Wave Nation will take you on a trip through the ’80s visually, as well as musically, with their 1980s’ show experience at 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, at the Struthers Library Theatre, Warren.
They will create the look and feel of an ’80s arena-style rock concert, while performing the greatest anthems of the generation of excess, in a way that celebrates the best of what music has to offer.
Utilizing modern-day video technology and lights, the New Wave Nation visually transports the audience through time and back, while performing the songs live. From the thunderous sounds of “Pour Some Sugar on Me,” to the straight, no chaser burn of “Smooth Criminal,” New Wave Nation — The 1980s Experience will leave you hung over for days. Come on out to see your favorite ’80s MTV Stars: maybe see Aerosmith, B-52s, The Bangles, Billy Idol, David Bowie, Prince, MJ and more.
Every New Wave Nation show experience showcases different icons of the ’80s so you may see a performance of Aerosmith’s 1987 “Dude Looks Like a Lady.”
