September 21: Allegheny Center for The Arts presents Allegheny RiverfesT at Betts Park, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Arts, crafts, food vendors, music, book readings, and demonstrations plus face painting, Fairytale Troupe, Adult Paint in the Park activity at 2 p.m. Recycled art contest, “Save the Allegheny,” for ages 11-16. September 28: Warren Area Walk to End Alzheimer’s Disease, Betts Park. Registration at 9 a.m., Opening Ceremony and program 10 a.m., Walk stepping off at 10:30 a.m.

October 11-12: Haunted House & Horse-Drawn Trolley Tours, 6 to 8:30 p.m., Historical Society. Trolley tickets: $9 in advance or $10 at the door. Haunted House: $3. October 19: Equality of Rights, 3 p.m., Conewango Club. Women’s suffrage play, plus afternoon tea, hors d’hoeuvres, cash bar, & live music. Tickets are $20 at the Warren County Historical Society and at www.warrenhistory.org.

Mondays, September 16 to December 9: Toddler Time: 10:30 a.m., Warren Public Library Children’s Department. Stories, songs, crafts, creative play, ages 1-4.

Tuesdays, September 17 to December 10: Build It Up, Take It Down:, 3 to 5 p.m., Warren Public Library Children’s Department. STEM play with blocks, LEGO’s, Magna Tiles, Bee-Bots, Bloco Robots and other toys that enhance learning.

Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays: Have You Visited the Book Cellar? In the lower level of the Warren Public Library. Selection of books for children, teens, and adults, plus DVDs & puzzles; priced from $.25- $4. Open Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5 to 7:30 p.m., Thursdays and Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., or whenever you see Sherm the Book Worm flying outside.
