John and Cathryn Zawacki of Warren are pleased to announce the engagement of their son, Benjamin Zawacki, to Piyanuch Klomthaisong, both of Bangkok, Thailand.

Miss Klomthaisong is the daughter of Aree Plewsungnern of Buriram Province, Thailand. She is a graduate of Chandrakasem Rajabhat University in Bangkok and is an independent consultant focusing on holistic health and fitness.

Benjamin, a Warren native, is a graduate of The College of the Holy Cross and The George Washington University School of Law. He has lived in Southeast Asia since 2002, and is an independent legal consultant, focusing on foreign policy, human rights, and international law.

An early 2020 wedding in Thailand is being planned.
