We recommend everyone take some time to visit a county fair. Warren County’s Fair begins today and runs through Aug. 9. Concerts by Alex Miller and the Oak Ridge Boys are the headline events, along with the Warren County Fair Queen Contest, rodeo, tractor pulls, stock car football and fireworks. It perhaps goes without saying that these fairs offer families a lot of fun and a lot of food. Next week is the Warren County Fair. I have been involved with it for a long time. When my children were young, they showed dairy animals. It was a lot of work, but the experience was worth it. There were chores to be done early in the morning to get the animals ready for the show. My children were quite young at the time thet they showed. It was up to mom to help.
