Pennsylvania State Police are investigating remains found at the Tidioute Overlook site. The Tidioute Overlook has been closed for days and reports have been swirling on social media that it was due to an investigation into possible human remains. Test of emergency alert system scheduled for Wednesday

A nationwide test of the emergency alert system will hit all phones, TVs and radios on Wednesday. The Federal Emergency Management Agency, in coordination with the Federal Communications Commission, will conduct the test at about 2:20 p.m. eastern time. A federal test of the National Emergency Alert System will result in a test message on all consumer cell phones next week. The test is scheduled to begin at approximately 2:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 4.
