A Warren man has been jailed on $150,000 bail after allegedly killing a pedestrian and fleeing the area. Cyrus L. Sears, 22, of Warren was charged Monday with second-degree felony accidents involving death or personal injury, misdemeanor tampering with/fabricating physical evidence and accident involving damage attended vehicle/property as well as three traffic citations, including reckless driving, failure to stop and give information or render aid and failure to notify police department of an accident. Higher river levels expected as Kinzua Dam increases water releases

Officials announced that significant increases in water outflow from Kinzua Dam were planned for Tuesday, due to the weekend’s large amount of rainfall and melted snow. According to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the increased releases may cause substantial rises in water levels below the dam over the coming days.
