She came to America in 1951 and has lived in Warren since then. She was employed at Blair Corporation/New Process Corporation in the mailing department, from which she retired after 48 years. Maryellen McDaniel Bonavita

Maryellen McDaniel Bonavita, 73, of Brookville died at her home on Sept. 29, 2025. She was the wife of Denny Bonavita, a Warren native. She had been the director of development for the DuBois Area School District prior to her retirement in 2015, and had also operated a healthy foods lunch outlet in Brookville. Surviving besides her husband are three children and four sisters. Funeral arrangements are private. The Furlong Funeral Home in Summerville is in charge of arrangements.
