Dragons visit Steelers
The Warren Area High School football team had the opportunity to visit Pittsburgh Steelers’ training camp in Latrobe on Saturday. “A great, out of this world feeling for our kids this past Saturday, they were able to get up close and on the field with the Steelers,” said Warren head coach Mark Morelli.
“They were in ‘awe’ of the size, the surroundings and the way the Steelers worked. This was a team activity that will not be soon forgotten and well worth the effort. How many high school teams get to visit Penn State University and the Pittsburgh Steelers in one year? Playing football for the Warren Dragons Football t certainly has its perks and benefits. As a program, we want to make football an enjoyable and rewarding experience for our players. We had over 30 players and 4 coaches make the trip, on behalf of our entire team, we thank the Grid Iron Club and Jeff White for allowing this event to be possible.”
