LeRoy A. Marti

LeRoy was a lifelong resident of Warren. He retired from Pittsburgh Des Moines Steel Company after a lifelong career. LeRoy was a 54year member, 32nd Degree Past Master Mason of the Joseph Warren Masonic Lodge. He will be remembered for his love of building and fixing things with his brothers and children. Christmas was his favorite holiday with each year bringing the anticipation of making a unique gift for his wife Phyllis of 68 years, using his artistic flair to decorate the house and church, making wreaths and most importantly playing Santa for family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Snow Marti; a daughter Debbie Dvorak of Indian Land, SC; a son Tim Marti and wife Debbie of Corry PA; a daughter Ruth Marti and her partner Christopher Kelley of East Lyme, CT; and a daughterinlaw Mitzie Marti of Marshall, VA; six grandchildren; Jason, Katie, Stephen, Ryan, Craig and Sam; six great grandchildren; Alec, Arjan, Ella, Ava, Finleigh and Palmer; several nieces and nephews and his constant companion his dog Trixie.

In addition to his parents, LeRoy was preceded in death and joins his best friends and brothers; Raymond Marti and David Marti; sons Jim Marti, Paul Marti and Jerry Dvorak.

Friends will be received from 68 pm on Thursday, March 7, 2019, at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc., 1003 Penna. Ave. E. Warren, PA 16365. A funeral service will be held at 11 am at the Grace United Methodist Church, 501 Pennsylvania Ave E, Warren, PA 16365, with Rev. Bill Beatty, pastor, officiating.

In lieu of flowers it has been requested that donations be made to Hospice of Warren County, 1 Main Ave. Warren, PA 16365.
