Margaret Conroy
Margaret W. “Mickey” Conroy, 86, of Warren, died Monday, April 17, 2017, at Kinzua Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center. Mickey was born June 13, 1930, in Warren, PA. She is the daughter of the late Walter and Johnetta (Wright) Mathyer.
Mickey was a lifelong area resident of Warren County and was the owner of Mickey’s Casuals clothing store. She was a member of the Philomel Club; a very active member of the Warren Women’s Club; and served on the board of Directors at the Library Theater. Mickey was also a member of the Trinity Memorial Episcopal Church, where she sang in the choir for many years.
She is survived by three daughters, Jane Hesch, and husband, Pat, of Warren, PA, Suzie Penn, and husband, Terry, of FL, and Ann Machost, and husband, Milton, of NC; three siblings, Helen Bell, of Warren, PA, Phil Mathyer, also of Warren, PA, and Dorothy Hardock, of MA; six grandchildren, Jessica Hesch, Clay Hesch, John Penn, Andy Penn, C.J. Penn, and Reyna Machost; three greatgrandchildren, Hallie, Kato, and Stella; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mickey was preceded in death by her son, C.J. Conroy; and two siblings, Barbara Stone and Jeannine Ansell.
Services will be announced at a later date.
