ERIEBANK would like to remind residents of its 2018 Calendar Contest, which will feature photos from the Northwestern Pennsylvania and Northeastern Ohio region with the theme of “Americana.” Local residents, whether they are beginner, amateur or professional photographers, are encouraged to submit one or two of their favorite photos of local examples of Americana online at www.ERIEBANK.bank through August 6.
ERIEBANK initiated this contest to provide an avenue to feature local talent and the communities in which the bank serves through the eyes of residents as they’ve captured with their camera.
The Americana theme encompasses all things that help tell the story of who we are and where we came from — from family heirlooms to well-loved toys, priceless artifacts and items of nostalgia to pop culture. Things that are red, white and blue, an aged baseball glove, or a restored car are just a few examples.
ERIEBANK is accepting photo submissions on its webite through August 6. Each entrant can submit up to two photos. For details on the contest and photo requirements, visit www.ERIEBANK.bank and click on the calendar contest ad on the homepage.
On Wednesday, August 9, 12 winners, including a Best of Show, and 24 honorable mentions will be selected. These photos will then be printed in the bank’s 2018 wall calendars, which will be distributed to customers beginning in November. The winners will be announced Friday, August 11.
