Pennsylvania State Police --- SUGAR GOVE --- An 18-year-old Sugar Grove woman was injured after swerving to avoid a deer on Stillwater Road on Sept. 9. Kaitlyn M. Johnson was traveling east on Stillwater Road, east of Turnpike Cemetery Road, at approximately 5:51 a.m. when a deer unexpectedly entered the road. Johnson swerved to avoid striking the deer and her 2010 Ford Escape entered a ditch on the left side of the road. The vehicle's airbags deployed.
