The Audubon Community Nature Center has announced the winners of its 2021 Nature Photography Contest.

Entries came from 17 countries, representing five continents, as well as from more than 30 states. Winners came from across the country and finalists from around the world, including Switzerland, Japan, the Republic of Korea, and Australia.

The 2021 Nature Photography Contest winners are:

¯ Adult Division Fauna: “A Preening Beauty” by Cami Marculescu, Charleston, S.C.

¯ Adult Division Flora: “Water Lilies and Reeds” by Michael Weishan, Cattaraugus, N.Y.

¯ Adult Division Landscape/Waterscape: “The Z Tree” by Luis Forte, Miami, Fla.

¯ Youth Division Fauna: “Rainbows in the Dark” by Loughran Cabe, Raphine, Va.

¯ Youth Division Flora: “Floral Warp” by Logan Rettaliata, Baltimore, Md.

¯ Youth Division Landscape/Waterscape: “Gold” by Andrew Taylor, Foster City, Calif.

Each winning photographer received a $200 cash prize. Their photographs will be on display at the Nature Center in Jamestown.

Images could be entered by youth (ages 8 to 18, or still in high school) and adults (ages 18 or older, or out of high school) in any of three categories: Fauna (any wild animal, no photos of animals in captivity, such as pets, zoos, or rehab animals), Flora (all plants, fungi, lichens, etc.), and Landscapes/Waterscapes (mountains, forests, fields, deserts, etc.; oceans, lakes, ponds, rivers, creeks, etc.).

Photographers receiving Finalist recognition in the Adult Division are Barbara Del Monte, Forestville, N.Y.; Richard Feliciano, Fort Lee, N.J.; Luis Forte, Miami, Fla.; Kathleen Furey, South Riding, Va. (for two entries); Ricardo Gilson, Meadville, Pa.; Bob Henderson, Mountain View, Calif.; Bruno Kneubuehler, Messen, Switzerland; and Erika Miura, Ishigaki City, Okinawa, Japan.

Finalists in the Youth Division are Zachary Gray, Harlingen, Texas; Yohan Hong, Seoul, Republic of Korea; Anandita Mitra, Cumming, Ga.; Cian O’Hagan, Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia; Rohan Sajeev, Plymouth, Minn. (for two entries); Makayla Seawood, Lancaster, N.Y.; Andrew Taylor, Foster City, Calif.; and Kale Worman, Neilburg, Saskatchewan, Canada.
