Cast Announced for All-County Musical

The Warren County School District’s 15th All-County Musical is proud to announce the cast of their upcoming musical, Disney’s Newsies. Warren Area High School junior, Jared Bupp will portray leading role of Jack Kelly.

Katherine Plummer will be played by Aubrianna Navaroli, also a junior at Warren Area High School.

Davey Jacobs will be portrayed by Hunter Peterson, a junior at Eisenhower Middle High School.

Davey’s cheeky younger brother, Les, will be played by eighth grader, Brady O’Donnell from Sheffield Area Middle High School.

The pompous business man, Joseph Pulitzer will be played by Warren Area High School senior, Tyler Blackburn.

Shannon Kellogg a senior at Eisenhower Middle High School will play the vaudeville performer, Medda Larkin.

The Newsies include; Crutchie played by Warren Area High School freshman, Logan Johnson; Albert, Sheffield Area Middle High School senior Isaac Fileger; Buttons, Warren Area High School senior Bryce Jache; Elmer, Youngsville High School sophomore, Krystal Long; Finch, Warren Area High School junior Nick Ditz; Henry, Warren Area High School freshman, Will Strassburg; Ike, Warren Area High School sophomore, Marilyn Shene; Jo Jo,, homeschooler, Joshua Smith; Mike, Warren Area High School freshman, Elizabeth Koebley; Mush, Warren Area High School freshman, Lillian Jache; Race, Sheffield Area Middle High School junior, Carter O’Donnell; Romeo, Warren Area High School freshman, Kaden Weber; Specs, Warren Area High School junior, Alyssa Brook; Splasher, Warren Area High School freshman, Derek Hahn; and Tommy Boy, Warren Area High School senior, Ceci Citro.

Other parts include Ailsa Boger, Warren Area High School sophomore; Eva Turner, Eisenhower Middle High School sophomore; and Corinn Gern, Warren Area High School junior, as the three Bowery Beauties.

Brothers Marcus and Jason Bonavita from Warren Area High School will play the roles of the Delancy Brothers.

Warren Area High School freshman, Graham Carr will be Weisel and Morgan Kellogg, Eisenhower Middle High School sophomore, will portray Pulitzer’s secretary, Hannah.

The cast is completed by an ensemble with Eisenhower students, Aubrey Younger, and Ashley Hall; Sheffield students Brennin Lester, and Eric Pierson. Homeschool student, Graham Kondak; and Warren students Kaitlin McCracken, Colin Drayer, Ethan Monroe, Jack Dolinger, Nick Norrod, Isaac Patchen, Elliott Neal, Hanna Hoffman, Lindsey Dippold, Maddy Robbins, Emma Colosimo, Adam McChesney, Caitlin Strassburg, Rachael Waterman, and Natalie Peterson.

The musical will be supported by an orchestra of student musicians from Warren Area High School, including, Aidan Colosimo, Kenny Lasecki, Cole Chimenti, Tyler Nelson, Bradley Klenck, Sawyer Mohney, and Stephen Ashbaugh. Music teachers include Sarah Korchak from Sheffield Area Middle High School, Susan Wilson from Warren Area High School, and Judi Danielson from St. Joseph School.

There will be four performances of Disney’s Newsies presented at Warren Area High School’s Keller Auditorium. Show dates are March 14th at 7:00 pm, March 15th at 7:00 pm, and Saturday March 16th at 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm. Tickets will be available to be purchased online and at Warren Area High School a week prior to the show and before each performance.
