Maplewood knocks off Eisenhower girls
RUSSELL — Sadie Thomas scored 13 points and Alexis Doolittle added 11 as Maplewood beat Eisenhower, 54-31, in Region 2 girls basketball Monday.
The Knights led 14-11 after the first quarter before the Tigers outscored them, 43-17, the rest of the way.
Delaney Chase had 16 points and five rebounds; Mackenzie Dunn had 8 points and four rebounds; and Bella Marino had three assists for Eisenhower.

RUSSELL — Youngsville outscored Eisenhower, 19-11, in the second half to rally for a 28-26 Region 2 victory Saturday.
Kamryn Wessinger and Mia Rafalski led the Eagles with 7 points apiece and Kenzie Olewine added 6.
Bella Marino led the Knights with 8 points to go along with four rebounds; Lilly Smyth had 6 points, seven rebounds and three assists; and Delaney Chase had 6 points, five rebounds and two steals.
