Warren’s freshmen boys basketball team improved to 9-1 on Friday with a 51-34 win over DuBois. Konnor Hoffman led the Dragons with 15 points, Brady Berdine and Braylon Barnes scored 10 points each, and Aidan Zdarko chipped in 6.

Earlier this week, Warren jumped out to a 14-2 lead en route to a 42-36 win over Brookville. Barnes led with 12 points, Hoffman added 10, Berdine 9, and Eric Dippold 6.

Last week, Barnes had a huge 29-point outburst in Warren’s 55-49 win over Meadville. He scored 17 second-half points, including three 3-pointers, in a 30-point Dragon second half.

The Warren freshmen are at Harbor Creek today, and host Oil City on Monday.
