Warren boys roll to fifth straight hoops win

TITUSVILLE — Warren’s boys basketball team won its fifth straight, 57-30, on Tuesday in a Region 5 game at Titusville.

Ben Berdine had 10 first-quarter points, and teammates Parks Ordiway and JT Blum added 6 each in the 24-2 opening quarter.

“Our trap (defense) created a lot of easy buckets tonight after a slow start,” said Warren coach Jeff Berdine. “Ben and Parks both got hot.”

Ben Berdine and Ordiway combined for 30 points for Warren (5-2, 2-2 in region).

Warren led 43-13 at the half.
