Oldtimers Baseball
The Jamestown Old Timers made a road trip to Springfield and dropped a doubleheader, 7-2 and 4-1.
In the first game, Troy Johnson collected a pair of hits, and Daryl Baldensperger and Rick Prindle each drove in a run. Johnson and Baldensperger shared the mound duties.
In the second game, Daryl Baldensperger had three hits, Charlie LaDuca had two and Ed Baldensperger smacked a double for the Oldtimers. Roy Lusk’s squeeze bunt scored Rick Prindle to account for their lone run.
LaDuca was the starting pitcher and Ron Thomas came on in relief.
