Youth soccer day on Saturday

The Warren High School soccer programs will honor their future on Saturday.

Warren County youth soccer players — in the YMCA leagues and the Kinzua Soccer Club — will be recognized and honored during the varsity soccer match against Corry at 1 p.m. Saturday at War Memorial Field.

Youth who wear their soccer jerseys will receive a give-away at the game and will be recognized durign the game, according to Warren Boys Varsity Soccer Assistant Coach Chris Darling.

“We’d love all the kids who play Y soccer and Kinzua soccer to come down, wear their jerseys,” Darling said. “We’d like to have them come out and support the Dragons.”

“At halftime, we’ll bring them out onto the field,” he said.

The give-aways are not only for youth. “We’ll have some give-aways for the first 150 people in attendance,” he said.

Health fair

There will also be a health fair during the match.

Darling said there will be nurses and physical therapists on hand to help people with available services.

There will be free blood-pressure and balance screenings as well as flu shots for $20.
