Ashley Barker

Ashley Barker and the Westminster College Volleyball Team traveled to Crestview Hills KY November 3-4, 2017 to compete in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) Championships. Barker is a junior setter for the Titans. She is a 2015 WAHS Graduate.

Second-Seeded Westminster won 3-2 (21-25, 25-20, 26-16, 15-25, 15-12), over third-seeded Bethany College in the Volleyball Championship Semifinals Friday night. Barker tallied 14 assists and 14 digs in the win.

The Titans lost 3-1 (28-26, 19-25, 12-25, 23-25) to top-seeded Thomas Moore College in the Championship match Saturday night. Barker recorded 10 assists and 8 digs in the loss.

Westminster’s overall record is 26-6, which has qualified them for an invitation to play in the ECAC tournament. The Titans will face Penn State Altoona in a home match on Wednesday, November 8th at 7:00pm. The winner advances to the semifinals to be held at Frostburg University on Saturday, November 11, at 2:00pm.
