Photo submitted to the Times Observer Several members of the Warren Couty Claybusters participated in the “Open Class” of the Pennsylvania State Scholastic Trapshooting event held in Elysburg, Pa. The Claybusters are having a spaghetti dinner event fundraiser on June 22 at the Kalbfus Rod and Gun Club in Clarendon for their National Competition. The event will run from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.. Cost is $10 for adults and $7 for children 11-years-old and younger. Spaghetti and meatballs will be served as well as tossed salad, bread, desert and drinks.

Golf results

Mike Davis was low net at 37 on the front nine while Skete Williams and Tim Watkins shared low gross on the back nine – also at 37 – during Jackson Valley men’s league play. Low net of 33 on the front nine was shared by Dennis Finnerty, John Larson, Marty Mineo and Mark Sweet. Chet Munksgard, Sr.’s 30 was good for low net on the back nine.

Lisa Payne’s 48 was good for low gross during Jackson Valley Ladies League play while Terri’s Bevevino’s 26 was good for low net. Here are the flight-by-flight results:
